A generalized itinerary for the program is given below. Please, remember that activities and schedules are subject to change based on student interest and/or weather conditions.
Sunday:

11:00 p.m.	Depart at 18 de septiembre y Manuel Larrea (Reina del Camino)*
*Students may choose to fly to Manta at additional cost and take a bus from there in order to reduce travel time.

Tuesday:

7:30-8:00 a.m.	Breakfast
8:00 a.m.-12:00 a.m.	Class (4 hours)
1:00-2:00 p.m.	Lunch and Relax in hammocks
2:00-6:00 p.m.	Tour of the farm: See tropical crops, permaculture, and organic agriculture; make key ring from tagua
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.-	Dinner and chocolate-making for dessert (students learn to prepare homemade chocolate from the cacao bean)

Wednesday:

Early Morning	Milk Cows (optional)
7:30-8:00 a.m.	Breakfast
8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.	Visit to Río Muchacho Environmental School. Return to farm & do handcrafts with tagua, mate or palm seeds
12:00-1:00 p.m.	Lunch and Relax
1:30-5:30 p.m.	Class (4 hours)
6:00 p.m.-	Dinner and coffee roasting/grinding (prepare coffee 'from the bean to the cup')

Thursday:

7:30-8:00 a.m.	Breakfast
8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.	Class (4 hours)
1:00-2:00 p.m.	Lunch and Relax
2:00-6:00 p.m.	Horseback ride (or hike) to see Howler monkeys in the rainforest. Visit a waterfall and swim in river on return. - Baño negro ( clay face mask )
6:00-7:00 p.m.	Dinner and Relax
Evening-	Campfire (guitar available)

Friday: OPTION 1 - Tour of Isla Corazón

7:30-8:30a.m.	Breakfast and Depart from Río Muchacho
9:00-12:00 p.m.	Options: Visit to the lookout points, Galäpagos turtle, ecopaper or scenic ride along the waterfront in an Eco-taxi
12:00-12:30 p.m.	Lunch
12:00-2:00 p.m.	Classes (2 hours)
2:30-6:30 p.m.	*Isla Corazón- Mangrove Islands with a stunning colony of frigate birds.
*Note : visit to Isla Corazón is in the morning or afternoon depending on the tide, therefore there may be changes to accommodate that.
7:00-10:30 p.m.	Dinner & Free Time
10:15 p.m.	Bus to Quito

Friday: OPTION 2 - Tour of Isla de la Plata in Parque Nacional Machalilla

7:30 - 8:30 a.m.	Breakfast and depart from Río Muchacho
9:00-12:00 p.m.	Relax & swim at the beach in the town of Canoa. (Optional activities: surfing class or horseback riding on the beach)
12:00-2:30 p.m.	Travel to Bahía de Caraquéz and lunch
2:30 p.m.	Depart for Puerto López.
Evening	Arrive in Puerto López. Dinner and accommodation.

Saturday: OPTION 2 - Tour of Isla de la Plata in Parque Nacional Machalilla (cont.)

8:30-12:00 p.m.	Boat ride to Isla de la Plata. Whale watching tour with guide (in season).
11:00-11:30 a.m.	Arrive at island.  Lunch.
11:30-2:00 p.m	Walking tour of island.  View colonies of blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, albatross, and other seabirds. Possibly sea lions.  Fantastic panoramic views of island cliffs and sea.
2:00-3:00 p.m.	Snorkeling in island cove.
3:00-5:00 p.m.	Return to mainland (additional whale watching possible in season).
6:30 p.m.	Dinner
8:00 p.m.	Bus to Quito
