Study Spanish in the Amazon!
We want our Study in the Jungle and Study on the Coast programs to be a great way to combine the Vida Verde Spanish School curriculum with socially and ecologically responsible, exciting and fun experiences in Ecuador! Our teachers do not only teach Spanish in their classrooms, they take you on adventures in the rainforest, help you out whenever the need arises and go along on excursions and activities!
Tena: Study in the Rain Forest
This 6-day Spanish program with Vida Verde Spanish School introduces you to a region of lush primary tropical Rain Forest located close to the Jatunyacu and Anzu rivers in the upper Amazon Basin. The point of access is the small town of Tena which is 20km downstream. From the Amarongachi lodge on the shores of Rio Jatunyacu the journey takes you to the beautiful Shangri La lodge that overlooks Rio Anzu.
Coca: In the deepest Amazonia
This 5-day Spanish program with Vida Verde Spanish School takes you deep into the Rain Forest following the course of Rio Napo towards the Amazon Basin. The point of access is the small town of Coca from where a motor canoe takes you downstream on Rio Napo for 25km. The Yarina lodge is close to the famous Yasuní National Park, in the middle of lush green endless vegetation. The area has been designated as a cultural reservation for indigenous Quichuas.
