Group Classes

Group Classes

Learning Spanish in a group can be a blast. Our teachers have designed programs which will allow for maximum participation and communication, no matter the level. We want to get you talking in Spanish from day one. By capping our classes at six students, these small group classes allow our teachers to focus on the needs of each individual student, while providing a fun atmosphere which will ensure learning for all participants.

  • Group classes let you work with people at your own level, so you can grow together and build off of each other´s successes.
  • Our teachers are trained to work with groups and to get conversations going, even at the most basic of levels. We believe that meaningful communication is at the core of language learning, so we strive to naturally create these situations in class.
  • By capping our group classes at 6 students, we ensure that each student gets individual attention.

Students who are serious about learning Spanish study for a minimum of 20 hours per week.  We offer 4 hour blocks of classes in the morning and in the afternoon.  If you are looking for more flexible classes, contact us and we can arrange a schedule which will work for you!

Disclaimer: Group classes are a fun way to learn Spanish with your friends. However, we have noticed that in order to obtain more students, many Spanish schools will throw students together who have no business being in the same class. This can be frustrating for all parties involved. Therefore, because we want you to have a great experience and to really learn Spanish, we limit our classes to groups that come to Quito pre-formed or to groups that we know will work well together based on their level of Spanish.

After spending three weeks directly at the school, I now do the online course at Vida Verde. And I can really say, this online course is a great replacement for being directly at the school. Actually, it's even better. Because using the computer provides a lot more possibilities and flexibility. For instance: If you don't know the meaning of a word, the teacher can quickly use ``Google`` to find it and show you a picture. Video and Audio quality are really good, so for me it's not a bit harder to understand, what the teachers says than before directly at the school. Exercises and homework are exchanged within a minute and if I have to write something, I can type, instead of writing by hand, which I really appreciate. Since I did the online course I even stopped traveling to Spanish language schools.
